Install the Chromium private beta

The current build is installed manually while the browser-store listing is prepared. Automatic updates are not available in this beta.

Download beta package SHA-256 checksums

Use Chrome, Chromium, Edge, Brave, or Arc on desktop. Install only on a profile where you want Keypilot to act.

Load the unpacked extension

    Unzip the download

    Keep the extracted folder somewhere stable. Chromium loads files directly from this folder.

    Open the extensions manager

    Visit chrome://extensions or your browser's equivalent, then enable Developer mode.

  3. 03

    Choose Load unpacked

    Select the extracted folder containing manifest.json. Pin Keypilot to the toolbar.

    Create the local vault

    Open Keypilot and choose a vault passphrase of at least 12 characters. There is no passphrase recovery.

  5. 05

    Connect a planner

    Use your own model key, the local CLI bridge, or choose Cloud agent and connect your Keypilot account.

Website access is requested when a run starts.

The package declares optional website access. Keypilot asks for the exact provider origins selected for a setup rather than receiving blanket access at install time.
