Install the Chromium private beta
The current build is installed manually while the browser-store listing is prepared. Automatic updates are not available in this beta.
Use Chrome, Chromium, Edge, Brave, or Arc on desktop. Install only on a profile where you want Keypilot to act.
Load the unpacked extension
- 01
Unzip the download
Keep the extracted folder somewhere stable. Chromium loads files directly from this folder.
- 02
Open the extensions manager
Visit chrome://extensions or your browser's equivalent, then enable Developer mode.
- 03
Choose Load unpacked
Select the extracted folder containing manifest.json. Pin Keypilot to the toolbar.
- 04
Create the local vault
Open Keypilot and choose a vault passphrase of at least 12 characters. There is no passphrase recovery.
- 05
Connect a planner
Use your own model key, the local CLI bridge, or choose Cloud agent and connect your Keypilot account.
